Level 2 Award in CitizenAID (RQF)

The qualification aim is to benefit learners with the knowledge and practical skills to save lives during extreme situations,

through meeting the requirements of the CitizenAID learning programme.

Prior to attending the qualification, learners will need to have downloaded the CitizenAID app, for their smartphone or tablet.

This qualification is aimed at providing members of the public with information and confidence in using the CitizenAID app, in an extreme situation.

The purpose of the qualification is to prepare learners:

This combination of effective organisation and immediate treatment will help to save lives.

We have aimed this qualification at ALL members of public who wish to learn life-saving skills and techniques in the event of a deliberate multiple casualty incident.

During this qualification, learners are assessed by their trainer across 7 different first aid competencies as follows:

There are no theory assessments on this qualification.

Successful completion of the practical assessments are required to successfully complete the qualification.

Successful learners will receive a Qualsafe Awards certificate, valid for a period of 3 years from the date of successful completion.

The successful learner will need to retake this qualification prior to the expiration date of the certificate to remain qualified.
