Both the courses in our Crowd Safety e-Learning course den are knowledge only courses, they can be used as the knowledge base for accredited qualifications with approved centres who can ensure that assessment in the work environment is carried out in a safe manner. We have decided to offer these courses to allow anyone with an interest to explore this area of work, as well as for those who wish to go further and qualified in spectator safety.
N.B. at this stage we are only able to provide the knowledge and not the assessment for the qualifications.

Why this course?
Our Highfield Spectator Safety e-learning Course provides learners with the knowledge to go on to achieve the level 2 award in understanding stewarding at spectator events qualification and safely work at spectator events.
This e-learning course has been designed to provide learners with the knowledge they need to meet the requirements of the Highfield Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety (RQF).
In order to qualify for the Highfield Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety (RQF) learners will need to be subsequently assessed by a qualified assessor.
Description
This Highfield Spectator Safety e-learning Course is designed to provide learners with the knowledge they will need in order to start their path onto crowd safety stewardship. It covers 18 modules, taking the learner comprehensively through the process of stewarding, and providing them with the knowledge element of the Highfield Level 2 Spectator Safety qualification.

In order to qualify for the Highfield Level 2 NVQ Certificate in Spectator Safety (RQF) learners will need to be subsequently assessed by a qualified assessor.
Who is this course for?
This course is suitable for learners currently working, or wishing to work, as a safety steward at live spectator events, including a variety of sporting or musical events.
It is also ideal for those wishing to eventually progress their careers by moving into roles such as stage pit operative, event safety officer, incident response team member or crowd safety manager.
What’s covered?
The Highfield Spectator Safety e-learning Course includes a total of 18 modules spread across 6 units:
- Prepare for spectator events,
- Control the entry, exit and movement of people at spectator events,
- Monitor spectators and deal with crowd problems,
- Deal with accidents and emergencies,
- Manage conflict,
- Support the work of the team and organisation.
The 6 modules are written in order to cover the knowledge content of both level 2 Spectator qualifications, which learners can progress onto.
Assessment
The Highfield Spectator Safety e-learning course is assessed by multiple-choice questions.
