Our Equality and Diversity e-Learning course den consists of 1 course that teaches employees how to operate appropriately in a diverse and equal workforce. Our e-learning course den is designed to aid understanding of:

What are the aims of Equality and Diversity?

The aims of equality and diversity are simple which is to ensure that everyone has access to the same opportunities and the same, fair treatment.

The Equality Act 2010 sought to deviate from a complicated mess of multiple legislation and provide one coherent set of guidelines for employers and employees alike to follow.

Before the introduction of the act there was around 9 major equality laws, and 100 or so smaller versions.

Our Highfield Equality & Diversity e-learning course is designed to help your organisation understand the importance of providing equal opportunity for all.

Learners on the course will understand what is meant by the term equality and diversity, and the consequences of inequality. It will equip learners with the tools to promote inclusion and create fairer workplaces. Finally, learners will learn the legal and moral frameworks that govern equality and diversity.

This course is useful for all levels of employee and can be used as part of the induction process for new employees.

It is also ideal for use as part of the on-programme element of the new apprenticeship standards and can support the knowledge, skills and behaviours apprentices need to effectively integrate into the workplace.
